Tour Overview

Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Tehran and Transfer to Kelardasht Upon arrival in Tehran, you will be greeted by our tour representative and transferred to Kelardasht, a picturesque town at the base of the Alborz mountains. The drive takes about 5 hours. In the evening, we will hold a briefing session to discuss the tour itinerary and provide essential information about the climb. Overnight stay in a local guesthouse in Kelardasht.

Day 2: Transfer to Vandarbon and Trek to Hesarchal After breakfast, we will drive to Vandarbon village, the starting point of our trek. From Vandarbon, we will hike to Hesarchal, a beautiful alpine meadow located at 3,700 meters. The trek takes about 5-6 hours, allowing us to acclimatize gradually. We will set up camp in Hesarchal and spend the night in tents.

Day 3: Acclimatization Day at Hesarchal To further acclimatize, we will spend the day exploring the surroundings of Hesarchal. We will take a short hike to higher altitudes and return to camp. This rest and acclimatization day is crucial for a successful summit attempt. Overnight stay at Hesarchal.

Day 4: Ascent to Alam Kuh Summit We will start our summit attempt early in the morning, around 4 AM. The climb to the summit takes approximately 6-8 hours, depending on weather conditions and the group’s pace. The ascent involves navigating rocky terrain and some scrambling sections. Upon reaching the summit, you will be rewarded with breathtaking views of the Alborz range and the surrounding valleys. After spending some time at the summit, we will descend to Hesarchal for a brief rest before continuing our descent to Vandarbon. Overnight stay in Vandarbon.

Day 5: Return to Tehran and Departure After breakfast, we will drive back to Tehran. Depending on your flight schedule, you may have some time to explore the city or relax before transferring to Tehran International Airport for your departure flight.
